Terms & Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and [Your company legal name] (“we”, “us”) for your use of PitchPane, including the website, editor and exports (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use PitchPane for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that company.

PitchPane helps you turn app screenshots into marketing images for app stores: templates, device frames, an editor, optional AI copywriting and translation, and exports in store sizes. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we remove something central to a paid plan, we’ll tell you in advance.

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account; tell us promptly at pitchpane.contact@gmail.com if you think it has been compromised.
• In local mode (no account), your projects are stored only in your browser. Clearing your browser data or changing device will remove them, and we can’t recover them — export anything you want to keep.

The Free plan includes 1 project, 3 AI generations per month (one generation writes the copy and picks the layouts for a set, or reorders it), and adds a small “Made with PitchPane” mark to exports. Pro removes the mark and raises limits as described on our pricing and billing pages. Limits such as AI runs reset each calendar month and don’t roll over.

We may apply reasonable fair-use limits to prevent abuse, such as automated bulk use of AI features or the render service.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it provides customer service inquiries for billing and handles returns, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. Prices include or add sales tax/VAT as shown at checkout.

• Renewal. Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time from the Billing page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and won’t be charged again.
• Refund requests. You can request a refund within 14 days of a payment by emailing pitchpane.contact@gmail.com with your account email and the reason for the request. Refunds are not automatic or guaranteed: we review each request individually — taking into account, for example, how much the paid features were used — and approve refunds at our discretion. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method. Requests made after 14 days aren’t eligible, except where the law requires otherwise. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights, including any right to withdraw from the contract where it applies.
• Price changes. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before a price change applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first.

You keep all rights to what you upload — screenshots, photos, logos — and to the text you write (“Your Content”). You give us a limited licence to host, store, process, render and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending it to our AI provider when you use AI features. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups kept for a short time.

You’re responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to use it, including any people, brands, music or artwork shown in it. Don’t upload content you aren’t allowed to use.

The screenshots you export are yours to use to market your apps — in app stores, on websites, in ads and on social media. Our templates, device frames, stickers and sample images are licensed to you for use as part of your exports. You may not resell or redistribute them as standalone assets, templates or design packs.

The fonts in the editor are open-source and used under their own licences (mostly the SIL Open Font License).

AI headlines and translations are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, unoriginal or unsuitable. Review everything before you publish it. You’re responsible for the claims in your screenshots.

In particular, ratings, reviews, user numbers, awards and rankings you show — including the star-rating elements in our templates — must be true and verifiable, and must comply with store rules and advertising law. Don’t present made-up reviews or ratings as real.

PitchPane is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Apple Inc. or Google LLC. App Store, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. Our device frames are generic illustrations.

We size exports to the stores’ published specifications, but the stores decide what they accept. You’re responsible for making sure your listing follows the App Store Review Guidelines, Google Play policies and any other rules that apply to you.

You agree not to:

• upload content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers anyone;
• use the Service to create misleading marketing, impersonate others, or mimic another company’s branding in a way that could confuse people;
• break, probe or overload the Service, get around plan limits or security, or access other users’ data;
• scrape the Service or use it to build a competing product, or resell access to it;
• use the AI features in breach of our AI provider’s usage policies.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to export your work. If we close your account without cause, we’ll refund any unused prepaid subscription time.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your screenshots will be accepted by any store or improve your downloads.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

If you use the Service for business, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from third-party claims arising from Your Content, your store listings, or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [your country/state], and disputes will be handled by its courts. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims there.

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify signed-in users at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.
